The 2008 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, is a biggest sport event which is being celebrated in Beijing. It starts from August 8 and ends on August 24. Around 10,500 athletes are expected to compete in 302 events in 28 sports."One world, one dream" is the official slogan of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The Games will also provide a stage for China to present itself to the world during 16 days and 17 nights of sporting celebration.
